About Us
Welcome to AAODS, Abergavenny's longest standing musical theatre society. We're a friendly, welcoming group with a proud and rich history. We currently perform two shows a year at the Borough Theatre, the jewel in Abergavenny's crown. Our society is split into the Senior Section (ages 16+) and the Junior Section (ages 8 - 18). Details of our forthcoming productions can be found on the Home page, or under the Shows section of this site.

The Society
The range of productions performed by both Juniors and Seniors is wide and varied, tackling both the classics and lesser known productions. The Society benefits from support from talented musicians, theatre staff and of course our members!

The Society has a high level of due diligence, care and best practice which is applied to all aspects of production, through audition, rehearsal and performance.
​
For Junior productions, the Director, Musical Director and appointed assistants have enhanced DBS certificates and the Society has a number of registered Chaperones.
